Alex joined our reception team in May 2023. After working in the pet care industry for 3 and 1/2 years, she decided to see what the medical side was like! Already knowing basics from previous experience, she is always seeking out new knowledge and skills. Alex is an experienced dog handler (individual and group), well versed in dog behavior, completing various training programs including PackPro and The Dog Gurus and is working towards her Fear Free Handling certificate. She is familiar with dog breeds but also takes a special interest in exotics and pocket pets, such as hamsters. Outside of work, Alex spends time with her Pomeranian Mango, working on tricks and training. She plans to work on allergy and blood pressure detection with her in the future. Alex is looking forward to getting to know our clients and their furry family members.
