Sera graduated from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Robertson College in 2018 in pursuit of her dream of working with animals. She joined the Dakota family in June 2021 after gaining experience at another small animal hospital. Sera works closely with the Doctors, technologists and patients in the appointments and treatment room and also assists clients in reception. Sera has an interest in patient nutrition and has attained her Fear Free certification. Sera loves working in veterinary medicine so much that she has decided to enroll in the Veterinary Technologist program at RRC Polytech in 2024. When not at work, Sera enjoys spending time with family, friends and taking her 3 dogs: Olive, an English bulldog, Jersey, an American bulldog and a Shih tzu named Ziggy to the dog park.
